La Mesa Sunrise Rotary Club members were up to the task of helping nearly 1,500 neighbors take home bags of fresh produce at Feeding San Diego for Rotarians at Work Day on April 26, 2025.
Large heads of cabbage, big potatoes, bags of locally-grown mushrooms, and tiny tangerines were dropped into bags and boxes over a two hour period to be carried home to feed families.
Thanks to the amazing organization of the staff and volunteers of Feeding San Diego, the operation ran smoothly with many smiles and expressions of thanks shared during the busy morning!
