Did you know that the San Diego State University Rotaract Club is 30 years old and 93 members strong? The SDSU Rotaract Club's First Annual Network Event on April 13 was an ideal opportunity for La Mesa Sunrise Rotary Club members and others to connect with this impressive group of student leaders!

Our Club's incoming president, Carrie Nakao, made contact with SDSU Rotaract Club's president elect and invited Rotaractors to join our meetings to strengthen connections. Other Club members connected with Rotaract board members to discuss ways to support both group's projects. City Heights, Pacific Beach, and UC San Diego Rotaract clubs were also represented.
The SDSU Rotaractors are to be congratulated for such a successful and well-attended event that showcased their members' commitment to "service above self!"
