Three new Club members joined our final service project of 2025 on New Year's Eve at Serving Seniors in downtown San Diego. We had the honor of serving a lunch meal to two shifts of seniors with Fred and Gabby, our guides for the day, helping make this experience fun and meaningful. We hope to make this an annual event to enrich all who participate, whether serving or being served. Thank you to all club members who were there, having FUN, and exemplifying Service above Self!

Norm Orgel and Ryan Umbenhaur were inducted as Club members at our meeting on January 3, 2026. Sue Richardson recently transferred her membership to our Club. Each of these individuals brings experience, energy, and a commitment to the Four Way Test, including our Club's fifth test: Is it fun? We are excited to welcome them and look forward to providing more service to the community together.

We've also had the pleasure of getting to know Chisa Morita, a Rotary Global Scholar from Japan who is earning her Master in Public Health degree at San Diego State University. Chisa has participated in a service project and a social event/fundraiser with our Club, and attended a meeting in December to update us on her semester and first few months in San Diego. We hope to see more of Chisa over the next year and a half!
