Rotary International Convention Toronto Tales

What an amazing event! Elena Lujan-Alba, Manuela Bump-Murillo,  Elly Dotseth (and her husband Mike) from La Mesa Sunrise, and Elana Levens-Craig from the Santee /Lakeside Rotary Club flew to Toronto, Ontario (Canada) to attend the Rotary International Convention. They roomed together in an AirBandB within walking distance of the convention venues. The plane trip there was very late, but we happily got to our destination at last! We were all able to participate in stadium sized ceremonies, break out sessions (to learn more about how we can "Be The Inspiration") learn about our incoming RI President, listen to international speakers praising the good work of Rotary International, and having a great time visiting the Hall of Friendship! Elana went to a lot of big events and thoroughly enjoyed telling us all about it! After the convention, Manuela was met by her husband Hugo, and they joined Elly and her husband Mike on a bus tour to visit Niagara Falls, do a little wine tasting, and learn more about the cultural differences between Canadians and US Citizens.
